Welcome to Zomi Theological Seminary

ZTS was established and initiated in 2006 with 17 students from different places, one full-time lecturer, some part-time lecturers from ZBCM staff including Rev. Dr. Vum Khan Khual and Rev. Vungh Suan Kham as a part-time lecturer, to train God-called Church selected men and women for Christian ministry by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It belongs to ZBCM and it was the only one Bible School, and the Christian Education Center. The motto is, "Train Useful Ministers," 2Tim.2:21. It was started with the course of Bachelor of Theology (B.Th) and Diploma of Theology (Dip. Th) since 2006 with 17 students. By the grace of God, it was extended with the course of Master of Divinity (M.Div) in 2018.

Welcome to Zomi Theological Seminary! Zomi Theological Seminary was established in 2006 with a vision “to train useful ministers.” We are delighted that you are interested in our seminary. The Seminary is committed to preparation for ministry with a focus on our interdenominational spirit. We re-envision ministry to meet the needs of our times by combining spiritual and intellectual growth. Zomi Theological Seminary is a learning community that is cross-cultural and ecumenical. We believe that we are participating in the mission of God with a vision of what the Church is and will become. We are a graduate institution of higher learning within the rich intellectual and theological tradition of the Baptist Church in Myanmar. I invite you to look around our website, viewing our course offerings, degrees, and our many programs. We are deeply invested in Church ministry and mission work, and believe, with all that we are, that a better vision for the future of Myanmar and the world as well. I invite you to join us. Mission & Vision Statement

The mission statement of ZTS is to glorify God by training faithful servants of Jesus Christ for the edification of the Church and the urgent evangelization of the world. The Vision is to reach the vast numbers of unreached people of the world. It seeks to train ministers from all Christian denominations and organizations. It prepares Christ-centered leaders for the church of the twenty-first century through experiences of faith in Jesus Christ study in the biblical tradition and the practice of ministry.
